In the Fallout bible, declaired non-canon by Avellone who wrote it, you can find some excerpts. Over all it's alluded to be not as legendary as how much it's hyped up to be in some of the cinematics but still extremely useful. ![]() Perhaps the closest to a real canon explanation of contents is in the Fallout manual that describes it as having a base replicator unit that can replicate food and basic items needed for building your new world (just add water), a holodisc reader with a library (includes selections from the library of congress, a complete set of encyclopedias, and a couple other pieces of information), and a miniature pen flashlight. ![]() is shown to be a technology of extreme significance shown in New Arroyo's picture at the end, Shady Sand's lushness as of Fallout 2, and Vault City. In Fallout 2 it's a MacGuffin! Jokes aside, it's inconsistent and best to consider the two as completely seperate.įallout 2's G.E.C.K. ![]()
